TRANS-HUMANISM
No this has nothing to do with so-called secular humanism or any such nonsense.
TRANSHUMANISM is the application of teleology, modern science, genetic technology and hyper-computing power to transform the condition we define as 'being human' into something entirely new.

Transhumans will be those people who have merged with technology and made constructive use of genetic engineering. Shedding such limitations as aging and being limited to one set of genetic instructions. Even shedding carbon/water existence altogether for a life in silicon electromagnetic matrixes is a possibility for those working towards a peaceful and intelligent transition to a new species.

The really FUN stuff (such as custom engineering your own mind) may be a few generations away but it's a good idea to start learning about these possibilities just in case the future sneaks up on us ;)
