This is a photo from the Island most geographically
remote from ANY landmasses, the literal definition
of the middle of nowhere and totally uninhabited
....
YET, look at all the trash on the beach.
Literally
tons of plastic and foam-cups and floating debris
tossed by cruise ships and oceanic trash dumping.
It is carried all around the world by the currents
and ruins ecosystems and pristine areas worldwide.
this is a terrible and under-reported catastrophe.

me it looks damn like a forest
A number of photos from the water-saturated polar
areas of mars have shown strikingly organic looking
formations that call to mind scenes of vegetation
& forest seen from above.
